Berglandmilch power is 100% hydropower

All of the Berglandmilch production facilities in Austria converted to environmentally friendly electricity on 1 May 2013.

Although it may not be apparent at first sight, Berglandmilch has been powered exclusively by hydropower since 1 May. The certification guarantees that the company’s electricity is generated solely from renewable energy sources, making this sustainable energy production completely free of CO2 emissions. Berglandmilch strives to treat people and the environment with consideration, so that we can feel good about the traditions we hand down to future generations, reports Josef Braunshofer, Berglandmilch Managing Director.
